We know, "unique" is a word that gets thrown around a great deal. But when we talk about Fossflakes being unique, we actually have something to back it up. Our patented loose fibre filling is of a quality and in a form not found anywhere else, and that is why Fossflakes filling offers a quite exceptional combination of properties.

The filling is primarily made from polyethylene – a durable and breathable form of plastic with small pores on the surface through which air can pass. This means the body is also able to regulate its temperature well under a duvet with Fossflakes filling. In both our duvets and pillows, the filling consists of 70% patented Fossflakes flakes mixed with 30% polyester ball fibres.

It is not only air circulation that the arched structure of the flakes helps to ensure – the shape is also central to the ability of Fossflakes pillows to provide stable and ergonomically correct support over extended periods of time. And this applies to both our standard pillows and our support pillows. The curved shape is remarkably stable, which ensures that the pillows retain their volume and firmness for longer before flattening – and should they flatten, they can easily be shaken back to their full, supportive shape.
